I Found Answers! CDI achieved early success creating a more technologically literate society in poor communities in Santiago. We had built 27 computer community centers throughout the city and were ready to expand our service. In fact, we had to turn away several communities who wanted to build a center due to a lack of funds. Then we received a significant grant answering our prayer - enough money and an expectation to expand to 60 sites and open two regional offices in 2 years. Now we had a new problem... How? A number of questions plagued us: - We have been successful with 27 centers, what structures do we need to expand to 60? To open regional offices?
- After interviewing and hiring almost all of the staff through our 3-person head office, how do we now ensure the same quality of staff with such an enlarged scope?
